Hi All,
Some time ago I installed a Toyota Celica 5 speed gearbox into my VK V8 Calais. Everything works well, however the electronic speedo has always been inaccurate since the conversion. When travelling at 100kph, the dash shows 70kph. The oddometer is also increasing slower than expected.
Could someone please let me what type of gearbox cog I need to purchase to rectify the problem? Although I bought the new cable with the kit, I'm told I need to purchase a Toyota cog to fit onto the gearbox end of the cable to fix the problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.

might just have to get a different sender that gives out mores pulses per revolution, 70 @ 100 is probably 1 or more to few pulses.
Thanks VK SL 3800.
Where is the sender located? Is it something that I would need to replace? Would Holden or Toyota sell this?
Cheers
