vn long range tank into vc sle (whats needed?

Hi all im in the process of chasing down a long range tank for my vc sle and I only seem to be able to find vn ones . can anyone tell me if this will fit and what if any modifications are required. I can get a full tank set up straps sender etc would this be a straight forward swap.

It will pretty much bolt straight in, you have to modify/graft one strap
If it has an internal pump it would be a low pressure one and should be fine (maybe), and if your running a carbie, block off the fuel return.

only need to modify the strap if it's from an IRS model
if it's from a live axle, then the straps fit straight on without modification

That sounds about right, may tank was out of a VQ statesmanodds are it had IRS
