Air Con Condenser Fans in VH 253 V8

hi i was wondering if anyone could enlighten me some more on this subject. a bloke told me i was able to set up a couple of air con condenser fans to run by a switch, and cool the motor. apparently it is supposed to up the performance of a 253 V8 a bit. does anyone have anymore info on this subject like is it really possible?? is it worth it?? and does anyone know how to install it??? No it was something I heard from another bloke and you know what people are like I wasn't sure if it was reliable info so I am just looking for some more info on the subject. Do you run a setup like that??

unless an engine is running hot, it's not going to give you any gains.
in fact, the fans are going to draw power from your engine as the alternator will have increased load while they are running
