Hi there, does any1 know where I can get new plastic pins that sit in your electric window switches. Wen u open the switches up there are 2 little plastic pins, one end of the pins sit under the button with a small spring for each and the other end touches the brass connectors. After time they tend to melt from electrical current heat. That's the reason most switches only work sometimes. I need a heap of new ones as I have a shit load of switches with that problem. All commodore models have the same plastic pins. U can't get them genuine. They will only sell a complete switch. Any help on where to buy these pins would b great.
I had idea about knitting needles and asked girlfriend about them size and she showed me a size gauge ( with holes ).
You can get plastic knitting needles.
Be a s*** of a job cutting but would work I think.

Just make your own, i did and work great, even after 2 years - no melting, work every time, Not hard to make either... just use the right plastic, better than buying whole new switch..
