Its a booster......... they only ever have 1 vac line. and your front bracket wont line up and the brake lines need to be rebent slightly as the booster pushes the master foward.

Tech, doesn't matter if its a V8 or 6 banger or cringe backfire 4. Only real difference is if its a 4 disc brake booster or disc/drum one.

AFAIK there are only two types of booster in commodores, 6cyl and 8cyl ones. It wouldnt surprise me if there are different ones for different brake combinations, i drove a HG with drums all round but had a disc/drum brake booster and it would have to be the most touchy pedal i have ever felt, absolutely shocking.

No, there is no difference between 6 or V8 boosters, only 4 disc vs disc/drum. The 4 disc has two diaphragms while the disc/drum only has one. Thats why the 4 disc booster is a little bigger in size. Same with master cylinders, no diff, only if you have a 1 inch master one. Both my SL/Es, ones a factory 5er the other a factory 6, both have same size booster and master cylinder while dads November 1978 built VB has smaller booster and same master cylinder, factory still.
