    Default LO FUEL light on sle dash cluster

    hey guys
    just wanna know how would i go about hooking up the *lo fuel* light on the vh sle cluster?

    you need an sle fuel sender unit in the tank and then need to wire it in as im pretty sure ony the SL/E wiring loom has a wire for it.

    dick smith used to sell a kit i think that was a comparitor type of circuit that you could adjust via a variable resistor to trigger when you wanted it to that followed the resistance of the gauge sender unit so it would work using your stock sender....but thats more expense if you could find it on the net.
    I remember seeing a sender unit for a vh with a trip computer a while ago and it had a simple switch mounted on the gauge unit inside the tank that made when the float got to a certain level and the arm touched it but it also had another add on bit like a relay mounted behind the gauge cluster that when the light was triggered by the switch in the tank ,it kept the light on so it didnt turn on and off as the level changed when the fuel moved around in the tank.

    dose neone know if a sle trip computer plus a loom for em would plug straight into a sl model mines just the basic model lol
