Gday folks, i was wondering if anybony can post some photos of where they have cut their hole in their VB-VH bonnet in order to fit a reverse cowl scoop. I dont want to cut through the bracing and was looking for ideas. Steve![]()
I saw a photo the other day, I think it was on ebay. The guy cut out the bonnet either side of the centre brace. So there were two neat holes under the reverse scoop. Damn it now I am going to have to find that pic and post it up...

you can cut anywhere you want. that brace is only glued on to the bottom of the bonnet:
just cut where you want till you get near the brace, then get a screwdriver to pop the brace off the bonnet skin, then cut till your hearts content.
