i just got hold of a VC commodore as a hobby and the old blue 202 is a bit old for me and i dont know much about them i have a 5l vs ss motor with wiring but no box sitting in the shed i just want to know what i would need to get that bad boy in the vc eg:tail shaft,gear box diff and if i can do it with out all that body control mod stuff as i have had nothing but problems with that in my clubsport a mate told me to just use a vn wiring harness but any other advice would be gr8

What gearbox are you going to use? Turbo 700 Auto or a Manual T5?
What is all the "body mod control" stuff? Is that like climate control and ABS and all that you are talking about?
I Think he means BCM (Body Control Module) Its a system that needs all of the components to be "keyed" in to each other to work (Same ignition module, with same ecu, with same BCM, with same key etc) Its a real pain of a system. Needs to be pissed off. Im told you can get this feature removed from the ECM. Would be easier than using an older loom?
