vh wont start

VH blue 202 has been sitting for 6months wont fire up turns over ok.put fresh fuel down the rebuilt carby(variac 2)still wont fire .seems to be electrical?any ideas? cheers donhomer

does it have spark? have you checked the coil or the centre pin in the dizzy cap, does the rotor button turn when you crank the engine if it dosent then the cog on the dizzy or the plastic timing gears are broken it could be alot of things first thing id check is spark.
