Im doing a V6 convertion to my 1985 Vk commodore and with my doner i was lucky enough to pick up a VN HSV LSD diff with it so i plan on fitting this to my VK and i was just wondering how hard it will be to swap from my old drum breaks to rear disks as this is whats on the VN diff, any help would be great!

Check out my white wagon thread mate....somewhere in there I've put pics and stuff on how it's done. Or there's a thread already on here somewhere about it too.

VN Diff will bolt in. Reconnect and bleed brake lines. Replace the drum handbrake cable with a disc brake cable. Tailshaft should be okay if they are both Borg Warners otherwise you will need to replace the rear half of the tailshaft. The VN Diff will be about 30mm wider on each side. Tyre with will be limited.

Had a look at your VK Wagon build up, i see where you have done it. So all you really have to change is the oil seal and bearing from drum to dics? and also i will be using the vn break booster on my Vk is there anything else i have to alter?
