power window regs and motors

Gday. im curious to know, are the power window regs and motors all the same and bolt in and connections the same thru the vb to vl range. I have a VH SLE and need the electric window Regulators and motors for the front doors. There`s VL ones in the local rag and thinking of getin em. any 1 know if there all same. cheers Mick

I think they will be the same, even if they aren't I don't think their would be much difference!

VB-Series I VK (84) & early 85s are the same later 85 VKs and VLs are different and much better design, they got rid of the alloy diecast and went to steel frames. All the wiring is the same VB-VK, VL the power window switch is in a different position but you can untape the harness and more it and retape.Motors are not interchangeable between VB-VK to VL etc.
