this is a picture of mine and my neighbours sle's. mine is the one on the right which is a 5lt and the neighbours is 4.2. both were made in adelaide in the same month of 1982

no mine wasnt. there was one in doncaster/templestowe recently on ebay like you suggested. the car on the left was recently purchased by my neighbour. he has another which has been in the family since new.

Its interesting how different the wheels make the car look, both look in pretty good nick, nice!

thanx for that, i like them best as they were from factory. the plan is to keep it as original as possible but it has had a respray on the top panels which was poorly done so will have to redo that and the heart is very tired so a freshen up of that is in order in the next few years but keep it as factory as possible.

Jump on eBay there is always a couple of sets on there in good shape.

Yeah I seem to be always stalking ebay for a set - they are either polished (pimped up), are in another state and pick up only or trashed. But I will persist, I'm determined to find a (good) set.

State to state (eastern states) postage is to bad for just alloy rims, I think mine was about $25 a rim.
