they go pilairs between the doors open and close, you dont really need them. just as you close the door sound abit quiet thats all. I've them on my commodore to. I'll try up load a picture for you. I hope this helps

You are right SL/ENUT, it was Holden's lame solution to stop theives sliding plastic straps through the door frames to get at the door lock button. I think they introduced them in the early VK (1984) series. On the later VK series (1985) the changed to the sliding locks and therefore removed these rubber blocks from the "B" pillar.
