hey guys, starting to get through the V6 convertion slowly as im in my seniour year of high school i can only work weekends which limits my money flow which makes it hard to get things done but just wanted to ask, i have a T5 and a VN *WAGON* LSD going into my VK sedan next week and i was just wondering what tailshaft options i have, is it possible to use the wagon tailshaft on my VK sedan? any help would be great.
AFAIK a wagon front half is the same as a sedan, you will need to source yourself a Vl rear section if you have late model Vk with a borgwarner diff or a VB-VK V8 rear section if it has a holden made Salisbury diff.
also your wagon diff wont go into a sedan.
Its a 1985 model, it has a borgwarner diff, and yes im aware that the it makes the track wider and that the strut mounts on the wagon diff are on a angle not straight up and down, the girlfreinds dad is a frabricator. Hes going to cut off the wagon mounts and fit VN sedan diff mounts in there place, is there any other problems i may run into? Thanks for the help.
Other then you cant fit big wheels there shouldnt be any other issues.
I have got a set of mag on laybey now, 17" by 7" wide or they to big?
I suspect you will have to roll the guards to get them to fit.
