I.ve got a vk, and it has a loud rattle. Got underneath and found the hex headed bolts really loose (all of them) tightened them up and drove like 5 k's and they loose again. Can some one tell me why? Its the 2nd half of tail shaft right after centre bearing.

Are they threads the bolts go into stripped ? Are you doing them up tight enough ?
I'd also try some locktight on the bolt threads and see if that helps
Your not the first person to have this problem, i cant tell you why some people have them come loose but i heard one bloke have it come loose 3 times and then never again, strange. I would pull the tail shaft out and inspect the threads, give them a good clean up regrease the uni while its apart and loctite the bolts back in, note which way around it was and put it back together the same way as before so its still phased correctly.
Threads r ok, and bolts were tight. Was gonna loctite them but wanted to see if others had probs before I did it. Thanks guys.

We had this problem with a tailshaft once even with locktite.
Ended up fitting normal high tensile bolts rather than the allen key ones, fitted some thin washers that were used on the uni end of salisbury shafts that were joined so it would lock 2 bolts together and then you bend the edges up against the bolts, never had the problem after that.
If you get stuck I have some I can post a pic of
