    Default Ebay Thermo fans

Hi people doing a little research as my other vk is getting an injected 304 put in sometime in the next year or so and was wondering what are peoples thoughts on these thermo fans:

eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d

Good, bad or dodgy? Anyone bought or had experience with them?

Little confused as he lists this one also, same description but lower price

Just reading the description, he says the AU fans are too big for a Commodore.

A lot of people run them in Toranas with minor mods, don't see why they wouldn't fit in a commy.

I have bought them exact ones, have to cut all holes, as there are none although it shows some, not a great fit but they are in a shroud, leaves open bout an inch top and bottom of radiator, and width it doesn't fit great. I bought more pull through mounting cable ties to secure it better and an adjustable davies craig thermo switch. dont look the best but them fans suck a lot of air, and being in a shroud is even better. I was disappointed when opening the box, but they gonna suit my k fine. I currently have 304 in mine with a solid fan and its noisy try something more modern. Will hook up override switch too. Will.get pics up one day of it

AU fans and Mondeo fans will fit just fine with a few cuts here and there... He's waking a 304 in a vk, pretty sure making a thermo fan fit is doable.....

AU fits VN-VS - have installed one in my VP. From what I understand they are too old for early Commodores. I have heard EF/L fit these models.

Might even be worth looking at a Mitsubishi Magna 3.5's fan set up, they flow a fair amount of air.

    Could be more harboring too?

I dummied up el/ef fans onto a spare vh radiator and the fan blades overhang the tanks either end.
Vt is smaller than Au as one fan is smaller in diameter than the other.
My preference is the VS V6 fan which will fit nicely (cut the mounting legs off and use screws to mount it at the top)
VS fan will clear water pump.
Do not hack and modify a VN vp vr fan as you'll find after all the effort, it wont fit between the radiator and the water pump, vn vp vr have a deep motor depth whereas the vs has a shallow mount for the motor.
    Hope this helps
