identifying 202 head

Hi. Just want to know how do u identify a 202 head. I got a blue motor and the head is different from other blues iv seen. It doesn't have the normal temp switch spot at the back of the head on drivers side and doesn't have the holes on it for the EFE switch and T.V.S. on the manifold side. Also on the other blues iv seen on the side of the head where the spark plugs are there are alot of spots where u can put bolts on to hold stuff on it like fuel flow sensors and stuff. Mine has none of those places for bolts and switches. I found a number on the head if that helps identifying it. Number is 7429477 and D 76 X. It has HOLDEN on it aswel. Cheers

Cheers hangman, wot site did u look at and where can I get more info. Is there a reason people would put a 161,173,186 head on a 3.3 202. How do u tell a YT from normal

I'd say it's done to up the compression. I just googled the casting number you gave.
