hey guys petrol tank help

i need to up grade my old leaded tank to unleaded with the smallerfiller neck so i was gonna cut the neck off and swap but need toknow safest way to do so and steps so i dont blo up so let me know ur experience

You can get an insert with the smaller filler hole, a lot easier and neater too.

have looked nothing seems to come up would have thought their was an insert wth these rules at the rta

i didnt know the filler necks were different sizes!!? lol

Go to an import place that does compliencing they have the inserts, else you could try cutting one out of a VL or later tank

rang an import place see if they sell insert and they said 110 % sure the rule has changed so you dont need to worry as they dont make leaded fuel any more

I thought you only wanted to do it for looks, there is no law that says you have to do it.

no was a law that you had to change filler neck so it would only take unleaded and not leaded fuel but heard today from a import place they scrapt that law as leaded fuel is not made any more
