Hi there.
I recently purchased a VH, it has a aftermarket CD player already in it, but does not get a good signal and every 5 minutes or so it will say "Seek PI", i am just wondering what this could be from? The aerial looks a little worse for wear, so i think it may be that, I don't know much about these cars as it's my first time owning one, but could it be anything to do with the arial being too old to pick up the signal or just a buggered one?
Cheers.
Was the previous one working ok?
What down the manual say about the error?
scott

I didn't put in the radio it was already in when i bought it. It didn't have the manual, but i did look it up online and it said that when it says "Seek PI" it means it is looking for a signal. It get's some sort of signal, but very faint, so i can hear music but it cuts out like i said. That's why i was thinking maybe the aerial was old and buggered and just needed replacing. Was wondering if when people replaced the radio from the standard to a after market if they had to replace the aerial"?
is this an analog or digial tuner radio? you should get static with antenna problems
