    Default battery tray problems

    ive just finished putting my battery in the boot, how do i remove the battery tray ive drilled out the spot welds that i can see, it still wont budge? how many spot welds is there?

    It's also welded onto the chassis rail with a vertical bracket

    yep ive got that one, ive sanded the tray back to try and see them but i cant see any, tryed peeling it back but still held down strong

    slide a cold chisel under the bettery tray and give it a hit with a hammer it will show up remaining spot welds to drill out, its not going to be pretty

    i just kept bending it up and finding where the spot weld were and grided them out it takes a bit there is shit loads of them.

    best way to find the spot welds is to hit it with a blow torch, scorch/burn the paint and hit it with a wire brush, (thats if you are respraying the whole area). Tends to show up the welds nicely then.
