Might be a bit of a stupid question but when installing a HEI dizzy from a Blue 202 into a Red 202 is it basically just a straight coil, dizzy swap with new electronic ignition leads.
The reason i ask is because I was gonna do this swap during the week and while I was doing a bit of reasearch just now I came across some pretty involved instructions on oldholdens.com which started to worry me a bit.
its basically plug and play ,except for having to do the timing no1 piston needs to be at top dead centre on the compression stroke no1 lead is where the rotor button points to when the dizzy is in at tdc the firing order is 153624 and no 1 cylinder is the one closest to to front.
ohh yeh and setting up the timing, must not forget that now.

And make sure you give it a 12 volt feed. It will not run as good if you use the Resistance wire. Use the original ignition coil wire to trigger a relay to supply full 12 volts to coil.
If the wiring is the same as a torana (9 volts to the coil with the ignition on and 12 volts to the coil when starting)just run a short wire to cross the two on the ignition switch.
