What sensor did you replace? Where was it? 202's don't have a CAS.

    Is it turning over?

ive checked if the fuel was getting thru, its fine. the sensor i replaced was at the back of the motor near the firewall right at the top of the block. all electrics r working when i try to start it just keeps turning over till the battery dies.

Trying to think what's up the back of a 202 now haha. Too many drinks for me

Temp sender is up towards the back of the block from memory. On the red motors anyway.

I imagine someone will beat me to it, but I'll stick my head in the shed and check one of the 202's I've got here later on if needed. You've lost me with the 202 CAS...

The OP is correct the EST carb version of the Black 202 does have a CAS and it is as he says at the back of the block. I use the CAS to fire my WOLF3D on my 202 black motor. I would be suspicious of the EST computer being rooted. I would try fitting a HEI dissy and see if it fires using that. I would be surprised if there is not a thread on here somewhere showing how to change the EST dissy to HEI.

I'm with hiy_po, chuck in a HEI dizzy and get rid of the EST, that ALWAYS eventually plays up, so chances are it's that!

HEI is a plug and play, vacuum signal connects to the EGR valve signal as thats ported vacuum and on a TVS so it only starts to advance when it gets a little temp in it, perfect for dizzy advance, same setup as a VH in the end.

bruh sounds easy enough but fark... do you have to have the engine inline n that cause i ripped that mofo out bruh n sumone told me abou ttiming n the engine being inline, plug n play sounds more simpler then inlining the piston n that ay ... cheers

This thread is a hard read

OP, Have you got a HEI Dizzy?

What exactly are the symtoms of the engine running rough or not running?

What exactly have you done to remidy the problem?

You have to try pretty hard to kill a stock 202 so I think your pretty safe
