hi everyone! looking to do something different. not after stupid power. just wondering if its legal to drop a beams 3sge into a vk (as in going from a 6 to a 4, yes a mod plate is needed anyway). i am on my p's. i know its probably not legal even tho its a 4cyl.. my reason for this is because its cheaper on fuel, more power then a 202. never been done before. plus its a solid engine to turbo later on if i want to. the car will get new coilovers and brakes before to meet the safety crap
Not to familiar with that engine but from what I can tell it's a older engine design to start with maybe try for something a bit newer or if your worried about getting a turbo on it later on maybe try a RB conversion or a supra motor.

Yes I know, if you get anymore manly you are in danger of making yourself pregnant!
Why not just give the 202 a good birthday, and get it tuned properly.
For the money you spend on this conversion, you'll be behind on fuel costs anyway. And then once done drop a real motor in. Like a 355.

its a new engine from a 2000 lexus altezza. is it legal to throw a 4cyl into a commodore tho? dont want an rb or 2j its been done before. this car should have 2 or 3 first's on a commodore![]()
done that with my old vh. it was faster then a non turbo supra or skyline. beat a stock standard vn ss. but it was a horrible car on fuel.
im not to sure aye. i know they come from a lexus altezza tho. yer thats the engine.
