Depends what has been done to the engine

On a hot 202 a 2 1/2" from the extractors back should be a good size on a mild or stocker I would go a 2" from the extractors back.

Get the joins in the exhaust flanged rather than press fit with clamps, better to work on, less chance of leaking.

I would go a single muffler at the front with a hotdog at the rear.

It you get a piece of stainless at the size you want polish it up and get them to weld it on the end of the pipe for an exhaust tip, it will never rust and look better than a chrome tip.

    cheers

Engine is fully stock, ill look into a 2 inch. Also, ive heard you can get away with having only one muffler.. whats that do? Is it bad?

It wouldnt be bad, you could depending on the engine get away with it. I would give it a go if its a little loud get a hotdog put on.

    cheers

id say go 2 1/4 inch exhaust.for a tougher note id get a barrel type muffler and put it right at the back with no muffler under the car.if it is for some reason to loud u can put a hotdog etc where the normal muffler will be

having the exhaust exiting straight from the muffler with no piping after it gives a tougher thump to the exhaust note
So some people are complaining about my motto on cops.well if u knew what ive been thru u wouldnt.so quit your whinging!

ditto go the 2 1/4" for a worked motor or 2" for a stocker, any bigger and 202s lose power

    a bit late now

i've got a fairly small exhaust, but it does have a single muffler before the diff and extractors. it gives it a nice note, without being too excessive. even dad thinks it sounds nice.

extractors 2 inch pipe single muffler in the middle and hotdog at the back it is legal and sounds nice, like a v8 on idle, if u want a good sounding cheap exhaust go with that setup but it up 2 personal opinion .
