Does any1 know if the vt vx vy vz electric window regulator and motor will fit into a VH door. I know I'll have to change the plug for wiring but will it bolt up in the same holes whr the VH regs go in and line up with the sliders on the bottom of the glass. Any help would be gr8. Thx
No, only the VB-VL ones fit in.

A lucky owner of 2 SL/E Commodores, a rare VB SL/E and a 2 tone VC SL/E. Just need a VH SL/E and have the set!
The best ones for front doors are the 85 VK & VL regs they are pressed steel over the cast diecast of earlier models as the earlier models have a habbit of breaking

Ok thx for the info. but how do I get it to close properly. It goes up and has a very slight sag wen up. I have to push it into the top corner so air won't come in while driving. Iv tried adjusting the pivot plate over an over again but it's still the same. Also there slow. Well there not to slow but iv seen faster. Iv replaced the bailey chanels and sprayed a shit load of wd40 on the motors and regs, which did work but I want them to go up abit quicker like a newer car does.
First of all out need to find out WHY they are slow
Is it low voltage/current at the motor
Worn/old motor
high resistance in wires
Connect the motor direct to a 12v fully charged battery and see if its faster, if it is its low voltage/current/high resistance is cable. Probably the simplest way to do it would be to add a couple of relays on the doors you ALWAYS use and it should be a bit quicker
Next if the motor is worn you may need to renew brushes etc, and good luck with that

mag, your post is gold.
also if your power windows are slow some silcone spray in the bailey channels works a treat
