202 red and M20 aussie 4 speed rebuild cost?

Hey guys i just wondering what a full rebuild for a M20 would coost and 202 red full rebuild cost. my VB wagon 202 red M20 was stolen and burnt out just wondering if it would be worth keeping and rebuilding the motor or gearbox, with the gear box i can get it into 1st, 2end, 3rd and 4th but not reverse spring for reverse is gone so i guess i will need to do the linkages but dont know what else would be ####ed in it. the motor well its still got a red block and chrome rocket cover but the carbi is melted to the manifold and motor is full of ash i think i can see heeps in through the hole on the rocker cover where a air filter was and every time i pill the dip stick out its covered in ash.

That motor maybe be able to be rebuilt. As for the gearbox, no, its had a massive heat cycle so it would fail.
