    Default how to fix

    Hey guys

    well this morning as i was backing out of my drive way i miss-judged and ran into the guys truck across the street(its a small street) and i only hit his Tyre but i made a lil crack in the plastic silver part just under my boot(seen below in pic) any idea's on how i could fix it?

    pull it off. go buy some LORD FUSOR plastic weld. then put the mesh that will come with it then cover it in the plastic weld. this should all be done on the inside of the bar.

    then sand till you cant feel the crack, also apply some to the crack as well. but not too much, then repaint.

    If you have to pull the chrome mould off there is a certain way to do it, BE VERY CAREFUL with it you will not replace it

    yes i mean boot, i would be worried if i did that under my bonnet by backing out LOL

    Make sure they know how to take them off, you need to give them a really good clean with water and compressed air where they clip onto the bar to remove dirt etc between the mould and the bar.

    Next spray inox into the inside of the mould, then undo the bolts holding the side onto the centre and slide the mould still attached to the side off the centre then basically grip the mould with rags and the bar end with your feet (or 2 people) and slide the mould off the bar end.

    meh, i just popped mine off with a small blade screwdriver. it put little dents in the plastic bar, but they sanded off easy enough.
