One of those triple weber style injection maybe the go. It may fit, not sure. Prob need an aggressive cam, "HX" grind or better.

A lucky owner of 2 SL/E Commodores, a rare VB SL/E and a 2 tone VC SL/E. Just need a VH SL/E and have the set!
wann go 400-500 valve lift i used to have a 500 lift cam in my old 250 xflow but thats long gone ford or holden dont matter to me its the way ya build ya engine to how good it will be im playing with my vk and i have no intentions of selling it ever
If you are just going to small local comps leave the motor stock with a 350 holly and extractors.Just change the diff ratio to about 3.9 and run small tyres on the back. Also make sure the motor is in tune.If you start putting large cams and stuff in ,the costs start to become not worth it.I ran the same setup in one of my toranas , it went all right ,even won some comps.
might be worth considering roller rockers for sustained high RPM
you don't need big hp to make lots of tyre smoke, so I agree with the post above in regards to not needing big cam etc
Make sure the cooling system is up to scratch. Maybe a triple core radiator, good fan
An engine oil and auto fluid cooler might also be a consideration to keep the oil temps down
well i have picked up a vt ecotec v6 engine full car that has been hit so im getting a good v6 with 160,000 ks and superchargeing it my vk is set up for a v6 already i had a vr v6 engine in it with custom manifold and was running a 600 holley but wanted to put a v8 in it i brought a 253 but it was stuffed so im back to a v6 but should go alright my vk has a rebuilt 3:45 and spool so the v6 should go hard as
or would twin strombergs work just as good or better the a 350 holley the 202 is out of a hz so ya saying if i paint the engine slap chrome rocker and side covers on twin thermos good trans cooler i have a rebuilt diff with 3:45's and spool with no rear brakes so in reality it should smoke and sound tuff
