    Default 304 chev engine

    hello im looking for some help i ave a engine in my ute with twin throttle rocket covers can anyone tell me how i can tell what this engine may be ? its been in this for a long time engine number v841135p

    stamped on front of the block 30k7 i was told 13 years ago it was a walkingshaw now im selling this ute im trying to find out if its the real thing not just a mock up cheers

    Its a Holden 5 litre, not a chev.

    Cause Chev never made a 304. Also, Holden bits won't fit onto a chev.

    Hey mate. Unfortunately that engine number/range isnt what i would classify as genuine. It sits just outside the range and although it may seem to be a walky twin throttle setup, it's not actually "Walkinshaw"

    If you want, i'll take it off your hands for $500 for the whole motor.

    That engine number is a victorian police engine number. Hence the V at the start and P at the end.

    interesting however is there a way to find for sure if its a walky the fella i bought it of wasnt into making a mock up im led to beleive it possibly come out of a wreck back when they were a fad as he did have a ridgey didge walky at the time

    No one else has made a copy of the walkinshaw manifold so....

    fair enough if theres any interest out there possible walky engine without twin throttles running holey group a extractors vn auto attached other end ford nine inch holden stud pattern all still in ute can see and hear running open to fair dinkem offers ill start at 7 gran cheers
