Default Neoprene Crank into Rope Block

I've got a black block and the crank's damaged. I can get a cheap crank out of a red motor but it's one of the early ones that use the neoprene seal. Have heard of rope cranks being ground to suit a neoprene seal. Was wondering if the rope block can be machines to suit neoprene seal or something like that? Thanks

AFAIK, you are shit out of luck. be cheaper and easier to just go get a rope crank. used VK rope cranks come up on ebay all the time when people go stroker. just keep your eye out. i must have seen dozens go through for 50 bucks.

There was a few on ebay recently for $100 starting bid, cranks were freshly reground and all.

Otherwise keep hunting around for one. There's plenty of cheap ones out there.
