Aussie 4speed - Price!

Just wondering what a full Aussie 4 speed conversion is worth?

I currently have the shitty trimatic, although a mate is picking up a car that has a Aussie 4speed. So he's offered me all the parts I'll need for the conversion. He asked me what's its worth to me, so I'm asking you guys

Hope that includes the proper V8 manual pedal box. If it is, looking towards a neat $400 if in a ok condition i spose.

the 4spd box isn't worth much these days, but the manual V8 pedal boxes are getting harder to source

Actually Darren, the M21 is worth a fair bit these days. They are getting harder to get.

Having recently purchased a V8 pedal box I know they fetch about $250 so I would say you are getting a very good deal at $400.

I did the m20 conversion on my 202. Tailshaft was the same as well as the gearbox support bracket.Speedo drive is different.You will need to loop the wires on the drive, neutral cutoff switch or change your starter motor.

I was thinking of manualing my VH.
I was starting to get prices of around 1k for the full conversion.
Pretty sure thats not right, but i never ended up converting to manual.
Any tips on where to look for parts, what prices should be paid per part, for other users thinking of planning a conversion?
