Your best bet is to talk to Malwood automotive Mal Wood Automotive - Home I have been trying to work out what to do with my latest VK and almost turned it into a track car, I was looking at using a TKO box from them. In the end I have decided to make it a nice road car. (less work & money)

How much outright HP & torque are you planning on putting through the box? The answer to this question will dictate the gearbox you run.

    cheers

I tried supra boxes behind my 308 running about 300-310hp at fly.

First tried w50 celica boxes, killed 2 they didnt stand a chance.
Then got a W58 thinking it would be fine till I killed it aswel, stripped 2nd gear. Then killed another 2 W55-w58 series boxes.
They had a nice shift and seemed fine for track racing if you avoided sharp changes and wheelspin. 2nd or 3rd gear tends to strip on hard changes or skids, you dont get much warning. Thought about the next one up, the R154 but dont trust them now going with T56.

What about using a T5 behind it? Dellows make a bellhousing to go in front of them to bolt up behind trimatic pattern blocks (got one here), not sure what they're worth tho. Then ya just need the T5 itself ($400-$500 for a second hand one), clutch kit ($200), CRS universal gearbox crossmember ($180 new), pedal box (a guy on here has a v8 pedal box for $130), clutch cable, and find a suitable tailshaft combo...possibly just need to put a t5 front section to ur 10 bolt rear section.
