VH SLE electric aerial question

My VH SLE electric aerial has a broken mast. Motor still works! I was wondering can the universal electric aerial work in my VH. Will i still b able to use my aerial button on the dash to raise or lower it to wot I want and will I need to change module under the glove box.


Or has some1 out there got a working one for me to buy.

You will need to buy a semi automatic aerial, bood luck getting an original mast you could try rare spares, ebay etc

Supercheap are selling electric aerials for $40 at the stores around here that suit VH.Try them out.

try the ones in the vk berlinas and calais. the original aerials are a Hadara and i missed out on a new one last week on ebay for $120

My vh broke its power aerial mast rope many years ago so I went to a large mower shop and bought a couple of metres of 6mm (or the biggest they had) diameter whipper snipper chord and installed it. Its worked a treat and has ever since without a hitch.
Its rope doesnt have a toothed setup like the later models...... it is driven by a drum that the end of the rope is secured to so as the drum turns it pushes the flexible mast up the conduit and extends the mast.
If yours is set up like this and you get another new one Ill buy your old one off you.
