I am in Brisbane and I need someone with a bit of knowledge and maybe the correct tools and muscle.
Need to replace the sump gasket (have new kit ready to go) on my 1981 VH Commodore wagon with 1.9 Starfire engine.(stop laughing!!LOL!!The car is still going strong!)
Unfortunately I don't have a suitable space/place at my home to do the repair (I believe the engine has to be removed..grrr!!.wish I still had my 6.)
Due to an injury I can't do the job myself.
send any ideas of what you would charge if you can help. (cash, beer etc)
email me at powrhtoc@bigpond.com
Thanks everyone.

you only have to support the engine with a small winch overhead and drop off the front suspension crossmember to get at the sump bolts if its just the gasket that is leaking.....front balancer seal and rear main seal can do it too.
This is my vr that I rebuilt ....CLICK HERE to see my vr on Cardomain

I don't have anywhere (garage, flat driveway etc) to be able to do this and due to a neck injury can't do job myself.
