Rekitting an 308 AC Mechanical Fuel Pump

Can anyone tell me how to remove(without resorting to a big hammer!)the one-way valves fitted inside the pump? Are they pressed in place? I have managed to get the rest stripped down ok,but have got to this stage and just want some advice-Cheers

i think from memory i taped them out from the underside of the pump. they will only come out and go in one way. but i did do mine awhile ago so my memory may be slightly wrong. good luck

update my previous, you should be able to see a few tab sort of things holding the valves in , I unpick the tabs and pull out the valves then after replacing them I get a 3in Ramset nail (poor mans center punch) and punch some new tabs to hold them in. i borrowed this from another sight. this reminded me that i pulled the old valves out using a screw driver or similar device, not like i previously suggested.
