VK Calais RB25DET Project

Hi guys,

Fairly new to the forums but thought id get my project up on here and hope to get some advice/tips for the build.
As you can probably tell from the title it is a vk Calais rb25 build, here's a list of hat i have so far and a list of some
other stuff Im looking for if any on can help.

Stuff got:
Vk Calais
Vl Berlina (wrecking)
R33 GTST (wrecking)
EMS dual sport
front mount, bigger turbo and other bolt on bits and prices
also have vlt stardard turbo set up (wanting to get rid of)

Looking for:
VLT DIFF + 4.11
injectors for rb25 (800cc ish or round there)
coil packs
a good panel beater in Melbourne that deosnt work as slow as a snail for cash
and a ems tuner
will probably think of some other stuff later.

let me no if any one wants anything off the vl or the r33.

why do u plan to infect a perfectly good vk with an rb25....vl fair enough but not a vk geeez!

i love the typical reply it seems like as soon as some one comes on this forum doing something other than a injected 5lt into a old coma or stroka build there's always a guy that trys to make you feel like you ripped Brocky's head off and crapped down his throat. i don't believe im infecting anything here its my project and my choice and if you don't like it mind your own business.

I'v always thought this would be a cool idea. nice to see someone doing!

My dad use to have a vk with a LD28 (was done when diesel was 50c a litre)

thanks for the love from nz bro, just spent the australia day long weekend stripping the r33 and the vl so all going smooth so far.

as for the diesel vk would have been tuff with a hilux 1kd turbo and sum 4wd lol wich was actually the original plan for my vk.

if u feel like your rippin of brockys head that must be your guilty conscience!
its a forum bud! everyone has an opinion and they are intitled to it and if u cant take a bit of stick well u best wake up to yourself.
not everyones doin 5L conversions or strokers, theres 253's 308's, 202's, ecotec6's, 5l's and LS's plus more, you just gota open your eyes a little and youll see whats being done.
once youve done the rb25 in the vk maybe you could drop a ford AU 6banger into a vh. go for gold son!

but all opinions aside hope your project goes to plan and turns some heads!
