if the factory plates say
8VX69 (SL/E) and Eng Trans as .. L31 M21
its genuine and rare

I had one as a company hack while at GMH and it came with the lonnng
2.60 diff and there were about 50 made with that diff. From memory
there were only a couple of hundred made in total

think its called 310 pack (?), yes they are rare; if you have one cherish and nurture it please, don't go modding it

308 packs actually. 310 packs are auto 308 VB SL/Es. And congrats Jordy2. I have one of these too, my pride and joy.

Thanks guys.its our baby,had it 15yrs now and will be our daughters wen we leave...lol.its the same colour as yours SL/ENUT.SADDLE BROWN.tryn to find new badgers for it,but i think im pushing it.dont know how to put a pic of her on here bugger.have tunnelramed it ,but stil the same motor.

Sandlewood beige metallic is the colour. Mine still has original motor, bottom end. Only heads, cam, inlet manifold and extractors/sports exhaust

I have only ever seen in person one 308 manual VB SL/E with matching numbers in my life (I'm 40 odd), and sadly that was a thrashed out, modded POS. Such a shame for such a rare specimen. Please keep original and in good nick!
