hey guys how are yous. i got a vk with a 308 in it iv planned to stroke it to a 383 ill be purchasing the come kit with the billet crank. id just like to hear from use what sort of head set up is good for these. i am considering getting ali heads. also what do you think about putting a tunnel ram on it. what ever ideas or info good or bads on these will be good thanks
first thing i would be doing is getting a vr,vs or vt block if you going 383. 383 needs ALOT more block work then a 355 and with that newer block there is less chance of hitting water. I think come are doing a 396 cui now too.I have heard mixed reports about holden 383 but alot of ppl say they dont work as hard as a 355 meaning a longer life. Dont quote me thats just hear say. should be a weapon but good luck

second off, speak to come themselves. they know their product better than anyone else and will be able to advised whats the best combo.
some dash heads and CNC ported will get it flowing good
