    Default vc/vh options

    hello all.

had a quick look around didn't find much info but heres what im needing to find out......

i know a handfull of vc's came out in black/shadow tone but did any vh's?
and did any vh's get the option of a grey trim?

the reason i ask is i found a black/silver vh slx with red trim but i want to change the trim to a grey......

    cheers guys

Dnt think they came out grey in the VH.
I'd leave the interior red (claret) as there wasn't to many with the claret colour. That's the colour in the VH brockys interior. Dash is the same as brocks but some different changes to the door trims and seats for the brock.

I think you will find that there is a red called carmine and the claret (dark red)was in the vc/vh range. I think the red looks a lot classier than dull and boring grey. Red interrior in a silver black vh would look great.

Nope, no Vhs came factory silver/black. Only dealer did those. Only factory two tone are SL/Es in VC and VH range.

Also no VH's ever had grey. So best thing to do is look for a VB/VC or VK with grey trim.

A lucky owner of 2 SL/E Commodores, a rare VB SL/E and a 2 tone VC SL/E. Just need a VH SL/E and have the set!

is the dash visually the same in a vc as a vh?

so the vh im looking at has been painted at some stage in the two tone?

The only difference detween the two is, if the VC had a/c, on the lower dash to the left side of the steering column on the VC had a air con switch/dial whr as VH dropped that and went for a switch in the upper dash panel near the clock. VH SLE had speakers in the ends of the crash pad near the doors. The SL and SLX VH didnt have the speakers and VC didn't have them at all on any of the range. VC had a RTS badge on the crash pad above the glove box. VH doesn't. VC has a chrome strip goin across the dash from side air vent on passengers side to the drivers air vent whr as VH is black. VB has the same detail as the VC.
Other then that there pretty much the same.

I think I got all that right. Some1 correct me if I got sumthin wrong or forgot sumthin.

As for the two tone paint. If its not a SLE it's probably been painted like that.
