    Default Anyone done this before?

    http://www.wheelwarehouse.com.au/?page_id=16&category=4

Has anyone fit these to a vc commodore on super low springs?

I'm talking about the top ones, I would need to adjust the centre bore somehow.. Shims??

I'm intending to roll the hell out the guards and think it should work but would love some real life feedback from those that have or those who are in the know.

My issue is most commodore rims lack ofset tragically!

    Ok input please lads

Not a 100% on this one AJ, but I'm pretty sure +38 is about your limit with offset on a commodore. As for the centre bore you can just use hub rings. My 20's have a centre bore of 73 mm and the hub rings bring them back to 69.7mm. BTW my wheels are a +38 and that brings them right out to the lip of the guard.

My 84 Vk- honestly mate I think that of 90% of forum members wheels so no of fence taken, it's all personal taste..

Show bags- that doesn't seem right? Standard commy bar vp IRS ofset is +45 yea?? There's more than 7mm to be gained surely..
I appreciate your help mate not complaining at all just thought these should fit JUST, and was wondering how hard it is. Your measurements would mean its undo able?

You may have to get the tape measure out and do it the hard way. Commodores range from +43 - + 48 depending on year and spec. I was just going by my VT. There is no way I would get a +20 on there.

I've run 19x8.5 +38 with a 245/35R19 but that was on a VY, scrubbed ever so lightly with a full car / boot.

Cheers guys, yea my vx had 245 on wh grange rims which were plus forty odd and had 7mm room..

My vc has 235s and has 22mm room now and with guards roll I hope for 27ish

Factor in some 225 and the fact my eyebrow is 230 and the tyre is 220 I think I should be ok?

If you've got that much room why not go a 10" wide rim with +50 offset on the rear? Will look way tuffer from the rear of the car.

While that is tuff I'm kinda sold on the rims I posted..
There slightly old school with wire wire and dish sorta simmons like whilst not being Simmons so there a bit more unique and then they have the new age euro/jdm flush offset

I'm just hoping someone has done similar wheels to a early girl to help me?

I checked his thread and there 5x120 et20s...
My tape measure and calculator say they should fit after a pretty thorough guard roll.

What car are you toying with? As first gens have loads more room than others...

    Will do

Won't be for a while.. Already got some "ok" rims and currently I'm just setting up my suspension/guards to suit my future rims.
Thatl all be finished this week.
Rims are maybe in a month or so.
    Tune/big bay tidy up first..
