Gas struts

Hi all

I have a question my boot lid wont stay open i was thinking of putting gas struts on on it so it will just woundering if this has done and if so how do it any advice pls as i am sick of it hitting my head

As for your question - why gas struts? Why not just fix the mechanism?

i dont know just throught it would be diffrent the metal rods that come out from the center of the boot are busted and i cant see how to fix them and as for sig i'll fix that now

Yeh i have seen the ones on ebay for $38, they look good, and doesnt look too hard to put on at all

The gas struts are easy to put on

u actually found gas struts for the boot i have ben looking for ages i can only find bonnet ones were did u get them from
