    Default Gearbox Slip When Cold

Got a interesting problem with my Trimatic. When the car is cold and you put it into Drive it starts off fine but after first gear its like it cant change into 2 and also somtimes it feels like its in Netural just reving out. After you drive it for more then 2 mins its ok after that. Changes fine and works great.

I was thinking it maybe the bands that need adjusting or even a simple oil change and filter The oil in the box is nice and clean and looks like it has been done recently.I heard that this is a commen problem with the old Trimatics.

Any one got anyideas before i go ripping the box out and looking into what the problem is?

had exactly the same problem when i topped it up with oil though it seemed to go fine but it wasn't perfect. so i went and got the trans service kit about three four weeks back put it in and adjusted the servo band at the same time. fill it up check the manual for ammount four lt works but because you have to drain it to change filter and gaskets a little more is better.

    now it runs smooth as

    hope this hrlps dude
