Just wondering what a reconditioned 202 high compression head is worth these days

It depends what has been done to the head and what head it suits etc.
I have a big valve 202 head with loads of porting work & combustion chamber work, heavy valve springs, 7deg collets etc I pulled the roller rockers off, I havent sold it yet and im wanting approx $500 for it.

What kind of power/economy were you pulling out of that setup? I'm assuming it was an EFI head?
its a standard high compression head that has had the seats done and valves ground.
Nothing special.
Engine has been turned over about 5 times before head got ripped off due to engine being stripped out.
Ive just been told that high comp heads are worth more and i want to sell it

Standard, reco head with hardened seats? Probably only around $200... that's the most I'd pay - even then I'd try to talk you down to $150.
thats about all i want for it, all it does for me now is break toes everytime i trip over it in the shed
