i have a vh and im in the process of puttin it back together just did the manual conversiona nd what not but my headlights dont work but when i put my foot on the break they do so whats goin on here i dont know if the taillights work there not on yet

Bad earth, the headlights are connecting to earth through the brake light switch only???. Try it once you put the tail lights in.
