I have found the best vk ever, its only got 56 000, when the sales man first said that we thought "wound back or clocked over", but when we saw it, almost broke into tears, its immaculate, no rust, still got all original boot and under wheel arch paint, original boot carpet, white pain, with very few scratches, interior, although in that marone/red color, all perfect, the original steering wheel doesnt even have a wear mark, dash, aircon works fine, engine clean as, has a few little things where it had been sitting for ages, but pased rego with 1 thing wrong, the braket where the muffler tip is had a stripped nut, original hubcaps perfect, (not that id keep em on lol), they want 2800, offered 2500, but only has 3 months rego, but the main thing is, u know when u open old car doors they drop, this one is like opening a new car, the dorrs havnt saged even a mm, there perfect, the lights are clear and perfect all original....???? would u's buy
What motor & box is in it..it sounds ok though...
The stock motor for the vk's. Just a 202 red motor, fuel injected straight six, its an 85 vk.
its not a red motor, its a black motor, either way, $2500 for a nice efi VK sounds like a good deal

My car was bought in a very similar condition with 125,000 in the clock - you'll rapidly find things wrong with it (but it'll still be pretty good!) - good luck with it
Sounds like a pretty good deal![]()
Hehe, how often the efi's are called red motors because of the inlet manifold and rocker cover!

keep looking man dead straight vks $1500 all day, and lets face it for the age of the car motor and box will need work, but thats half the fun, look for one that still has all pollution shit connected, generally good sign that it has been thrashed
