coughing and farting

for some reason just lately, the car seems to be coughing and farting when in the low rev range (idle to 1700 rpm) this happens both when driving at 50-70k's in drive and also when taking off. i've changed spark plugs, fuel and air filter, checked the coil and leads and now i'm wondering could it be either starving or flooding? any advice would be very appreciated :b:

pull one of the plugs out of it, what colour is it ?

black = rich

tan = fairly right

white = lean

i'd be leaning toward lean giving the popping and farting sounds .... but rich could also do that

i have kinda the same prob with my car, a holden commodore 81...
i bought it 3 weeks ago, it was fine but had the end of my trip the car atrted to run strangely...but now the car is not running, it start perfectly but the car is not moving...
any advices?

had the same problem with my '08 and a mechanic i no told me the float in the carb is either stickin or has a small hole in it. she runs BEWDIFUL when you hold her flat but!

i think i know what it might be, i pulled the cap off and there's 2 sets of points. what the f*** is that?
