EFI VK Kickdown Cable

Hey all. I've been working on my girlfriend's EFI VK, and I was just wondering where the kickdown cable on this model is? It's not on the throttle body like my VP (or any other car for that matter). The auto really struggles to shift into 2nd while accellerating, at roughly 3500-4000rpm. When my VP was like this it was the kickdown cable, so I thought I'd have a play, see if I can get her shifting a bit easier.

No kickdown cable on a VK that why you cant find it

Look at the top of the go pedal lever for a springloaded sliding switch from memory its brown plastic.

Mine is white. Just follow the two orange wires.
