    Default King Spring Superlows

Hey all, i am thinking of purchasing a set of king spring superlows, with matching front struts, these have been on a VK for 6 months. at the moment i have heavy duty rear suspension (air bags inside the springs). My question is would i still be able to have the air bags inside the superlow springs? I know i need to replace the rear shocks (i'm thinking of Monroe GT gas), do i need to replace the front shocks as well? Anything else that i need to get?

    any input is appreciated.

The spring diameter isnt any different, only the height could cause an issue depending on the height of the airbags.

I would do the front shocks as well to match the rear, also depending on their condition replace the front bump stops, shock covers, strut tops (bearing caps) while your at it.

You should also buy an adjustable panhard rod as well to straighten up your diff alignment while your at it. I prefer the on car adjustable ones form whiteline, I have pictures of mine on my site.

    cheers

Yet another question, but as they say, when in doubt ... ask.

Is the only difference between wagon rear springs/shocks and sedan ones the load capacity? Will the springs/shocks from a wagon fit into my sedan ok?

    Hi,
    Yes they will bolt in...

I had a set of wagon springs I used to put in my VK for when I used to go on trips away, 4 adults, lugage & 90L of fuel used to do do bad things to the rear wheel arches
The wagon springs would make the arse end sit up unloaded but fully loaded the car would sit level, I think a better approach which I will inquire about once my car is back on the road is to fit airbags in the rear springs.

One word of warning though the last time I ran the wagon springs I actually snaped a coil spring right in the middle, so if your planning to load the car right up weight wise I would look at alternatives such as airbags or more appropriate coils.

    cheers
