Will VN rear seats fit in a VK?

Hey guys,

I recently saw a full VN Calais rear seat in a VK - but it didn't look like it *quite* fit properly. It may have been poorly fitted or even just sitting there - but I can't be sure.

So - can I cram a VN rear seat in the VK - or does it require modification?

Also - can anyone see a problem with fitting a VS/VT mirror to my windscreen?

The reason for asking this is due to an incident involving a spraycan, a parcel shelf and an explosion. Big mess. No more rear windscreen, rear seat now black, and a hell of a big mess all over my week-old respray. NOT HAPPY JAN!!!!

Ti fit a VN-VS seat in it does need some trimming to make it fit properly. I also think the frame needs mods too.

'trimming' as in of the upholstery? Something that would be best left up to an upholsterer?

Well if you really want it yes its worth it. And it might be best to see upholster and see what he will charge

Well I'm not really keen on spending very much at all... I'll stick with a set of Cerulean VK Calais seats like I had. I might pickup a set of crap VN seats to see if I can make them fit... but we'll see I guess

im tossin up whether to get my vl calais interior retrimmed or to get a nice vs clubsport interior i've had my eyes on The rear seat problem is the only thing stopping me from getting the clubby interior... so i'll be watching with interest to see if you can fit it in!
perhaps i could get my vl rear seat retrimmed using the fabric off the clubby rear seat..?
