    Default Brake lights

K still having elec problems. Im thinking from reading some of the posts here that maybe I have faulty taillights? How do I check & fix? Please remeber I am blonde so step by step & pics would be helpful

Already replaced battery & alternator, no joy. Still battery going flat after awhile, & radio plays up when foot on brake. Also dash was playin up before (digi) but seems to be okay since new alt? So is brake fault draining power?? possible? Or is it main earth wire from battery to body?

i to had the problem with the radio cutting out with the brakes and the connection on the battery wasnt tie enough and the light problem well you might have a faulty light or the wires are earthing out some where.

A month or two ago I had a similar problem, but when I applied the brakes my left hand side indicator would come on slightly, and when I tried turning it on at the same time it wouldn't come on.

Just about everyone I asked said to check my earths coz if an earth isn't making proper contact it can do wierd things...so I cleaned the whole connection on the back of my left hand side taillight, which happened to fix it .

So just go around ur car wif a wire brush and start cleaning up some earths...u might get lucky and find one which is causing u this trouble.

YEP.. IT SURE WILL. I JUST FIXED THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY CALAIS. I ENDED UP PUTTING IN A SECOND EARTH FROM THE TAIL LIGHTS TO THE BODY AND IT'S SURE ENOUGH FIXED THE PROBLEM.
    GOOD LUCK
